What does "Reveal and discard" mean?
“Reveal and discard” means to show your Rival card and then place it into your Discard Area.
What does "Search 9" mean?
Search X means to look at up to X cards from the top of your Main Deck, then place them on bottom in any order when finished. In this case, X would be 9.
What is an "ability?"
An “ability” is a common effect shared amongst multiple cards. Abilities can be identified by bubble-text adjective words. Ex: *BOLD*, *FOOLISH*, *RESCUER*
What does "remove from play" mean?
A card is considered “removed from play” when it is outside of the Game Area. Cards that are removed from play only exist outside of the Game Area temporarily.
What does "That card is treated as being Stockpiled" mean?
It means that when you add the removed from play card to your hand, if your Rival has cards in their Stockpile, they can add them to their hand.
