Text: ATTACK Once per Round, when defended [1]: Resolve the “when defended” effect of a Mono Ally in your Discard Area. (This can’t resolve its own effect.)
FAQs/Rulings
Can multiples of the same card use a "Once per Round" effect?
No. “Once per Round” effects can only be used once each Round across all cards that share a name and tag.
If my Rival defends against my attack and I use a Response Support to remove that defender from the Combat Area, can I still trigger this effect?
Yes. As soon as your Rival defends your attack, this effect can trigger. This happens before any Response Supports can be used.
What does "Resolve" mean and when I resolve an effect, do I have to pay the effect's costs?
Resolve means to carry out a cards Resolution Text which is the text after the colon(:) in a card’s effect. No, you do not. Resolving an effect this way allows you to use the effect without paying the costs of that effect.
Does this allow me to trigger "Once per Round" effects again?
Yes, it does.
What does, "This can’t resolve its own effect" mean?
It means this card is not able to resolve the effect of an Ally that has the same effect its has.
