What does "remove from play" mean?
A card is considered “removed from play’ when it is outside of the Game Area. Cards that are removed from play only exist outside of the Game Area temporarily.
What does "That card is treated as being Stockpiled" mean?
It means that when you place the removed from play card into your Support Area, if your Rival has cards in their Stockpile, they can add them to their hand.
